I have been driven by a desire to reduce, as much as possible, the number of people who suffer from vaccine-preventable diseases and their sequelae. This has been the starting point of my research. Based on this motivation, I have been interested in how information about vaccination should be provided and in effective communication related to vaccination, and I have continued to pursue these topics in my research.

I hope that students will also value their own interests and questions and explore them in depth. I would be very happy if I could support them in that process.

Research Theme:Nursing education, peer learning (collaborative learning), and education aimed at building autonomy and communication

While being involved in nursing education, I have become interested in exploring the factors that contribute to more effective and satisfying active learning. I would like to conduct research on education that incorporates feedback. Balancing work and study is challenging, but I am determined to tackle it positively.

    Research Themes
Public health, occupational health, support for working people, and support for care providers

Seeing public health nurses play active roles not only in government settings but also in many other fields inspired me to deepen my understanding of public health, which led me to pursue graduate studies. I am interested in what kinds of support are needed for people who continue working while facing various life circumstances, as well as for those who provide care. In my master’s program, I hope to conduct research on support for workers and people engaged in caregiving.

Research Interests: Health support in school infirmaries; help-seeking behavior among children and adolescents

In the master’s program, I hope to deepen my understanding of health support in school health. In particular, I am interested in how yogo teachers identify the psychological difficulties that may underlie children’s complaints of physical symptoms when they visit the school infirmary, and how they connect those children to appropriate support. Through my research, I would like to contribute to creating school environments where children feel safe and comfortable seeking help.
