On September 27, 2026, Associate Professor Aya Saitoh gave a presentation at Sweets Seminar 2, “Building Vaccine Confidence from the Perspective of Vaccination Providers: Implementing Recommendation and Dialogue through Education,” held during the joint meeting of the 30th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Vaccinology and the 67th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Clinical Virology.

The title of the presentation was:

“Quality of Communication with Parents and Vaccine Readiness among Healthcare Professionals”

The presentation addressed the importance of effective communication with parents and the need for healthcare professionals involved in vaccination to be equipped with appropriate knowledge and communication skills regarding vaccines.
